In the morning of christmas eve……
little did i forsee what lesson destiny had weaved for me…
something happened in the party that noon………
as i saw the little children…like flowers bloom…..
their eyes…they had so many stories to tell………….
more than all the diamonds……… in a lifetime……….. i could sell….
stories of how they had suffered so……
inspite of bieng born….just a few years ago….
it reminded me of all the problems ……i had braced……..
so little compared to all they had faced……..
its so easy to fight a battle ….you know someday….. you might just win……
but its so difficult to fight a war …………….you know will take you only to HIM!
there were so many lessons to be learnt that day..
from children ……….who not a word ……………they seemed to say!
like rocks they seemed unshaken…..by the strong winds of a cruel time……
almost telling me that inspite of it all….nobody…NOBODY….could take away this beautiful moment…it was………. all mine!
and as my heart…began to bleed from within…..
their faces slowly began to break into a smile …ending at both ears from chin….
and in that …….moment……….. i felt ……… in my heart
that they were ready …….with lifes greatest wisdom to part…..
life is a game …………………..they seemed to say………
a game …………someday……………….. we must all learn to play……….
winning or loosing……………….. is never so important………….
it is always … ……..how we play the game that is always …important!
that day …… i thought…….. i had gone to give….
not knowing that they would teach me………………… how to live…..
i meant to bring them some happiness…..for a few moments in time……….
what they gave me was was the wisdom of true happiness ……………..to last a lifetime……
in all my actions …..and all through my words….i could not teach……….
what they …….in …..silence ……..seemed to preach………
i tried to show them………………. how to smile…………..
they taught me how to travel…….. lifes long journey….of a thousand miles…..
and ……as i walk ………..back ……….into the jungle of life………..
another truth……seems to stab me………………. like a knife………………..
gifting ………..creates………….. “gaps in realtionships”…………i was once told……………
in reality…………… they bridge hearts……………..made of nothing…..but pure gold!
